**Arson Suspect Arrested**: An Evansville man, Jonathan M. Waters, 33, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of arson and criminal recklessness following a September 11 fire that displaced 7 people and injured 2. This is a serious concern for our community, and we’ll keep an eye on this case.
**Coffee with a Cop Returns**: A great opportunity for our Everyday Heroes to connect with the community! Coffee with a Cop is back in Evansville on Wednesday, and we encourage you to participate in this event. It’s a fantastic way to build trust and have open conversations with the public.
**Crime and Justice Updates**: We’ve got a few updates on ongoing cases. A Dubois County man has been sentenced to two years in prison for child sex crimes. Additionally, an EPD officer who was found not guilty of criminal recklessness has resigned.
