What’s up hero! It’s Monday, October 3rd, 2026. Not a bad day to be an Everyday Hero, eh?
First off, let’s talk about the Evansville police department. They’re dealing with a few incidents, including a shooting threat at Signature School that turned out to be a false alarm. No shots were fired, and everyone’s safe. Good to know our law enforcement is on top of things.
Next up, the Franklin police department has made an arrest in the 2006 murder case of Chynna and Blake Dickus. This is a big development, and I’m sure it’s a relief to the family and friends of the victims.
Last but not least, the Evansville Fire Merit Commission has fired EMS Supervisor Douglas Randell after allegations of sexual misconduct. This is a serious issue, and it’s good to see that the commission is taking swift action.
That’s all for now, hero. Stay vigilant, and keep on keeping on!
