**New Tech Institute Mourns Loss of Student**: Three boys were tragically killed in a house fire on Powell Avenue, and one of them was a student at New Tech Institute. The school is holding a celebration of life ceremony for the victims.

**Local Man Falsely Declaring Candidacy**: Ken Colbert filed to run for office despite being banned from doing so, which is a crime that needs to be addressed.

First up, we’ve got a bit of good news: A family of a former otter murdered in Evansville has released a statement expressing gratitude to the authorities who brought the killer to justice. That’s some closure for ’em.

Next, police are investigating a string of incidents that include a juvenile killed and two others injured in a shooting, as well as a narcotics raid that netted fentanyl and cocaine. Looks like they’re cracking down on crime in EVV.

Lastly, there’s been another arrest related to the infamous Vicky White and Casey White fugitive case from 2022. Guess you could say justice is finally catching up with ’em.

**Top Story**: A big one from Evansville, Indiana – an individual is facing federal charges after a massive meth seizure. Police found over 47 pounds of crystal meth during a search warrant, and the suspect could be federally charged with possession with intent to distribute.

**Another Big One**: In related news, two people were arrested in connection with a shots-fired incident on South Culver Drive in Evansville. No one was shot, but authorities did recover evidence that led to their arrests.

**Crime Spree Continues**: A teenager from Gillette was sentenced to 6-8 years in state prison after pleading guilty to a 12-hour crime spree last summer in Casper. Not exactly the kind of Valentine’s Day gift we’re used to, hero!
