Whaddaya know, hero? It’s October 8th, 2025! Got some updates for ya.

First off, police are still processing the Fall Festival shooting from yesterday. One person was injured and one suspect is in custody after they raided a nearby apartment connected to the incident. We’re keeping an eye on this case, as it’s still early days in the investigation.

Next up, our drone-watching vigilantes will be happy to know that police tracked down a guy flying a drone over restricted airspace during the Fall Festival. No word yet if charges have been filed, but I’m sure our heroes are ready to swoop in and take care of business.

Last but not least, it seems like the National Guard is moving into position near Chicago, with Memphis possibly being their next destination. With crime rates fluctuating, we’ll be keeping an ear to the ground on this one. Stay vigilant, team!
