What’s cracka lackin’? Today’s the 31st of December, 2024, and as we wrap up the year, here’s what’s going down in the world of the Everyday Heroes:
First up, it seems crime is not taking a holiday in Evansville. A custody dispute turned nasty over the weekend, leaving Evansville officers busy on East Morgan Avenue dealing with an alleged kidnapping. The suspect’s identified, and the young one is safe, but man if I was still alive, I’d say those family law disputes can get pretty hairy.
Evansville’s not catching a break with arson and gang activity heating things up. Emilson, Gibson, and Wilkerson are facing some heavy charges involving arson and criminal gang activity. Seems like it’s getting wild, so keep your eye on the streets and your vigilance cranked up to eleven.
On a less fiery note, Evansville had something to cheer about with Cameron Haffner leading the charge to help the Purple Aces end their slump with a solid victory over Missouri State. It’s always good to see the home team pull through, a real win for community spirit.
Stay sharp out there, heroes, and let’s make the new year brighter and safer!
